Our experience with vision therapy at Focus Eyecare has been outstanding. We’ve witnessed remarkable progress in my daughter’s vision — she previously struggled to read, keep her place, and stay focused in the classroom — and the therapy sessions have made a significant difference. We’ve seen a measurable improvement in her vision since beginning the sessions. In addition, the staff is always friendly and highly professional, and the office has been incredibly accommodating with scheduling, especially since we travel over an hour for appointments. Focus Eyecare came highly recommended by a trusted specialist, and we couldn’t be happier with our decision. After going to a different pediatric eye clinic on orchard lake road , in west bloomfield (they told me my son would grow out of his lazy eye, three years passed.. and they told me that we could wait to see if the kids in kindergarten make fun of him, and then maybe surgery.) Enough was enough and I got a second opinion from Focus Eye care. Immediately they told me that my son should be in glasses and he needed vision therapy. We got him glasses, and we've had twelve sessions of vision therapy, and I see a major improvement with his lazy eye. They fully think he will be able to not need glasses anymore after we continue with the vision therapy. I am so beyond grateful for them. If you can schedule with Alyssa for vision therapy - she is the sweetest, and my 4 year old loves her so much! The staff is kind, professional, and love, love, love kids. Had a great experience! I felt something was off with my vision and they got me in promptly. Trying on glasses was tons of fun and they pointed out features of glasses I wouldn’t know to look out for.  Butter brings a friendly welcoming to the office and definitely needs a promotion! The women in the office are amazing at what they do. Doctor Dragoo made my exam feel light hearted and stress-free. I am beyond appreciative for how they took care of me. I had a great experience here! Dr. Dragoo is fantastic - she takes her time explaining things and wants to make sure any questions you have are answered clearly. All of the staff here were so kind and helpful in helping me choose frames, especially as someone who doesn’t wear typically glasses and doesn’t know what to necessarily look for. We’ll be back :) I brought my 18 month old in for his first comprehensive vision exam. The staff was wonderful with him, and the office had a very clean and welcoming atmosphere. The front desk staff and office manager were our first interaction and they were happy and excited to welcome my son; they also have a gentle golden retriever therapy dog that he adored. Dr. Robyn was thorough in her examination and had excellent bedside manner! We also saw Noelle and Jewel who used developmentally appropriate communication and incorporated toys into their interactions with him! Above and beyond, and very professional staff. I have nothing but amazing things to say about this place. Dr. Dragoo is so educated, genuine, and amazing in her specialty! My visit was quick, smooth, and all of the staff members were very considerate and helpful. These people care and pay attention to every detail including comfort. I made a switch from America's Best to Focus Eyecare. Best decision I made for my eyecare. They have good positive energy and are fueled by challenges to make patients/customers leave with the best possible options in glasses and contact lenses. They go the extra mile to present all options for insurance coverage and how to enjoy bundle discounts. I just wanted to let the entire staff at Focus Eyecare know how much I love my new glasses. They’ve made such a difference - my vision is clearer than it’s been in years, they fit perfectly and look great.  I can finally see the scores of ball games on tv from my kitchen, all the way into the family room! I really appreciated the time and attention Dr. Dragoo put into finding the perfect prescription for me during my exam. She explained everything thoroughly, answered all my questions, and made me feel comfortable and confident that I was getting the best care possible.  And a special shoutout to Alex, who took the time before, after, and even during my exam to find the right pair of frames for me.  She picked out such a stylish frame with a great design, that suited my prescription perfectly.  And an additional recognition goes to the gal(s) who took my original phone call and worked the front desk who were so welcoming, helpful and kind. I was referred to Dr Dragoo by my previous optometrist who was retiring. And I am so glad I was! Dr Dragoo is fun and professional. She made me feel comfortable and provided a lot of information on various contact lens brands so I could make the best decision for me. Focus again went above and beyond for us. My son broke his glasses just a week before going out of town.
